Bishops Cinema Politica

Cinema Politica at Bishop's University / CÉGEP Champlain Lennoxville has begun on October 28th, 2008, and will be from now on a bi-to-tri-weekly series showcasing movies that bring important political issues to light. Some topics covered may include, but are not limited to the environment, globalization, war & peace, government, and more.

In the winter semester of 2009, Cinema Politica will work side by side with the Tierra del Fuego / Social Ecology Club, to help make this movie series possible. The films will be shown in Nicolls 4 at Bishop's University, on Tuesday evenings. Exact times are yet to be determined.

These films are free of charge for everyone, but optional donations are appreciated to help fund the movie screenings (postage and printing are our main costs, and so is the free candy). All Bishop's students are invited, as well as Champlain Lennoxville students and members of the local community.
